In an economicly difficult period - shortly before the end of the World War I - Richard Eschke takes over the sole management on the old location. A period of intensive new patterning and developing begins. Increasing export activities - particularly into the African colonies - is going to help the company later to survive the hard times of inflation during the Great Depression.
